M. M. Malvin

M.M.Malvin (b.1959) is a city boy (conceived on a baker’s table at Malvin’s Bakery, Grünerløkka, on Norway’s national day, May 17, 1958) and he loves Oslo, as his motives clearly show. They are often images of the back streets of the city, with unexpected angles toward the city's center.

In 1986, after six years of study, Malvin finished his study at Parsons School of Design in New York City. Since then he has worked for every daily newspaper in Oslo, created countless cover illustrations, participated in both group and solo exhibitions in several countries, and has also received several prizes and grants.
